“It looks even more dismal than I remember! Actually, I used to love swimming lessons, except when it was really cold. I remember diving off the top board and hitting my head on the bottom of the pool. Monday evening was Benheath swimming during the summer term. That was always fun.”

“This is what it looked like between 1979 to 1983 can still remember the over powering smell of chlorine and how crowded the place got when we had swimming gala's - but wouldn't change the memories.
The early morning rush to the pool from Benheath before school started so we could do some training and trying to get the speedo cap off your head as they always seemed to leak..............
Wonder what it looks like now - hopefully they have upgraded some. ”
